On this particular day, Ivelisse noted that it was taking a lot longer than usual to get through hand luggage inspection than usual. She was with her boyfriend Rico, who was also starting to get a little bit agitated by the long wait. As it turns out, airport security was dealing with two men who had a package with them that couldn’t be transported on the plane. Naturally curious, Ivelisse kept a close eye on where they were disposing of this mysterious package.

As one of the men tried to walk through the metal detector, it pinged, indicating that there was something on his person that couldn’t accompany him on the trip. In fact, this was something that wasn’t allowed to be carried on board at all. After a short discussion with the officer, an argument ensued, and it became clear that this wasn’t going to be solved quickly. What had the man been carrying on him? More importantly, why was he so sentimentally attached to it?
