Kat certainly wasn’t shy about telling the journalist that she believed it had been the ashes of someone. The person might have lost the ornament, or have had it stolen in a robbery. She spoke rather frankly about her theory, to the point that the people in the room gave it serious consideration too. Although she didn’t have anything more to go by than a hunch, she was sure that the truth would come out after the story hit the airwaves.
