Prior to signing his now re-signed two-year contract with the Boston Bruins, Jaroslav Halák was an NHL free agent. He is famous in his home country of Slovakia, whom he represented in the 2010 Winter Olympics. 2010 saw the national team reach an all-time highest achievement of placing fourth. Petra and Jaroslav were married in 2012 and share two children, daughter Inna, and son Nathan.
