Kacie McDonnell
As with so many who came before her, Kacie McDonnel gained as much experience as she could by doing various stints for local stations in her native Boston. This helped her to learn the ropes, make some contacts and to eventually make a move towards becoming a sports reporter for the Fox Nation Subscription Channel. Although she hasn’t been with the network very long, she is showing great signs of promise, and is someone to watch going into the 2020’s.

Sandra Smith
Sandra Smith didn’t have quite the journalistic start that some of the other heroines on our list did. She began her career working as a research associate, where she discovered that she had a bit of a different calling. Bloomberg TV gave her a shot shortly after, and in 2007 she became a member for the Fox News team. She contributes to multiple segments these days, and is known for a work ethic that never dwindles.
