1939 BMW RS255 Kompresso
The 1939 BMW RS255 Kompresso was considered one of the best racing bikes that provided an experience like no other. As such, it comes as no surprise when we see the price tag being $480,000. This motorcycle has been ridden by some of the greatest racers of all time and was initially designed by some of the company’s top engineers. BMW was on a mission to build a lightweight bike yet pretty fast and was top-class above those already on the market. The bike was already light, but BMW decided it was best to add a supercharger to give it a boost in power. However, there was a drawback when it came to the 1939 BMW RS255 Krompresso…it was not quite reliable as many others were out there. It had a lot of engine issues and was known to stall a lot.
