1949 Vincent Black Lightning Supercharged
Dating back to the late 1940s leading into the early 1950s, the 1949 Vincent Black Lightning Supercharged was considered one of the fastest motorcycles ever manufactured. Its speed booster was a supercharger installed to give the motorcycle engine the boost it needed. It was a welcome to the biking industry.
Interestingly, there were upgrades done to the 1949 Vincent Black Lightning Supercharged to include a 6-inches addition to enhance the overall style and aerodynamics. This amazing speed machine is currently going for a cool $317,000.
The shape of the combustion chamber helped to name this next 1937 model motorcycle.
1937 Crocker “Hemi-Head”
The 1937 Crocker “Hemi-Head” is an award-winning motorcycle that featured more of class and show than its push for speed. They were manufactured back in the 1930s, but only five of these models were made. If you happen to see one you like and would love to purchase, you may need an average of $276,500. The bike is designed uniquely with a 90-degree incline of the valves and is the reason behind why the name was given to the motorcycle. The valves were installed in the hemispherical combustion chamber and helped the motorcycle to cop the titles of Best in Show and Judges Choice.
