Jennifer Griffin might have studied at Harvard University, but she felt a special pull towards South Africa when she was first deciding where to get started on her career. Beginning with a news desk job in the capital, she ended up covering major events related to the end of Apartheid in the country. Eventually, she would be poached by Fox News, and covering events in the Middle East and elsewhere. A breast cancer diagnosis meant she stopped working for a while, but she bounced back and as of 2010, has shown no signs of slowing down. A truly inspirational woman.
