Sydney Esiason – Matt Martin
Another unrestricted free agent to make our list, Martin was originally drafted into the NHL in 2008. His wife Sydney is no stranger to the world of sporting superstardom, being that she is the daughter of the NFL legend Boomer Esiason. Sydney has held a number of jobs in the field of sports media, no doubt bolstered by a lifetime of experience and exposure to the world of sports broadcasting. In March 2018 the couple announced their engagement. They said their vows in June 2019, and welcomed their first child to the world in July 2020, naming them Windsor Grace.

Brandy Johnson – Andrew Ladd
After a successful 12-year career Andrew Ladd joined the New York Islanders to become their newest member. He and his wife were married in 2011. Brandy received her Doctorate of Optometry from The New England College of Optometry. During Ladd’s time with the Winnipeg Jets Brandy served as a board member of the True North Foundation. In her five-year tenure, she was the acting liaison between the foundation and the partners of the players. The couple shares a beautiful family with three children, and they run the Ladd Foundation, a charity to aid the less fortunate.
