The former Montreal Canadiens player is currently playing center for HC Kometa Brno. He and tennis star Lucie Šafářová started seeing each other romantically in 2017. Šafářová has won seven singles titles and fifteen doubles titles on the WTA Tour. She retired in 2019, soon thereafter posting to social media that she was pregnant.
