After inspecting the object for a few more minutes, Priscilla realized that she wasn’t going to be able to get to the bottom of her hunch on her own. Her daughter Kat was a skilled glassblower. The fascinated woman knew that her daughter might offer some additional insights about the ornament and where it might have come from. She made a mental note to ask Kat about it the next time she visited, and until that anticipated day, she hung the magical heart up in her kitchen so she could look at it every morning.
