We can probably say Mitsubishi was designed to be affordable for everyone as in the 90s, their 3000GT series was going for an average of $20,000. If matched to the inflation rate of today, you would pay an average of $40,000 now. The 3000GT was manufactured between 1990 and 1996 and was not referred to as Mitsubishi in the United States but as the Dodge Stealth and sold under that name as well. It was a tactic used by car dealers to try and get more people to reach out and own one of the rides. As of 2020, reports are that you can get a used model for roughly $5,000 – good condition too!
