Johnelle Hunt
Johnelle Hunt played an instrumental part in building the J.B. Hunt Transport with her late husband Johnnie Bryan (J.B.) Hunt, in the 1960s, based in Arkansas. Over the last years of the company has grown to employ more than 24,000 workers, becoming a major transportation and logistics company, with an annual turnover of $686 million. Still living in Arkansas, Johnelle has two children and an inheritance of $3 billion.
Barbara Dalio
In 1976, Barbara Dalio tied the knot with Ray Dalio, who is the founder of a global hedge fund firm, Bridgewater Associations. Still married, the couple is blessed with 4 sons. Together they head up their own philanthropic organization, Diallo Philanthropies. Having come from a middle-class family, Ray has certainly come a long way to build a net worth of $18.4 billion. We could all agree that building wealth is far more impressive than inheriting it.
