A large group of people from the entire retirement home, both residents and employees, gathered around Ruth’s room to watch as she added the final tab to her collection. Ruth was greeted with a thunderous ovation from the audience.

Even those who were skeptical of what she was doing participated in the fun and laughter, which included her critics. Everyone was anxious to learn more about what was going on, and they were right to be so curious.

Ruth laughed and put on her favorite coat and slid into her brand-new shoes, which she had recently bought. She asked for assistance from the bus crew in loading her containers into the bus, which they provided.

They all exhaled a sigh of relief, knowing that her shambles would be cleared away shortly. She provided the bus driver a paper with an address, and she was accompanied to her destination by two members of the retirement home’s staff.
